Known for his clarity of expression and strong communication skills—sharpened through years of success in debates and moots—KENNETH began his legal journey at one of Malaysia’s oldest and most established firms, Messrs Chooi & Co. He later joined Messrs Nadzarin Kuok Puthucheary & Tan as a Partner before co-founding XK Law.
WEI YING, a distinguished alumna, graduated with First Class Honours from Cardiff University, United Kingdom. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales at Middle Temple in 2018 and subsequently admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2019, following a comprehensive nine-month pupillage at a leading law firm in Malaysia.
AFIQ pursued his legal studies at MARA Technological University and was officially called to the Malaysian Bar in January 2022. During his pupillage, he gained diverse experience across various levels of the Malaysian court system, laying a strong foundation for his entry into the legal profession with notable ambition. Currently in his second year as a legal associate, Afiq is a dedicated professional assisting the partners of the firm.
SAHAIN is an alum of National University of Malaysia, where he successfully completed his legal education. Under the mentorship of Joachim Xavier, he underwent pupillage before earning an admission as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2022.
JIA VIN’s journey into law began with a love for problem-solving – the kind that combines logic, language and practical thinking. That curiosity led her through moot courts, internships and pupillage, each step strengthens her passion for turning complex legal issues into actionable solutions.
NICOLLE holds a law degree from Cardiff University and obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice in 2023. During her studies, she gained valuable practical experience working as a legal intern and later as a paralegal, where she contributed to cases across multiple practice areas as well as disciplinary proceedings against lawyers.
NIVETHA read law at the Advance Tertiary College and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from University of London. She was called to the Malaysian Bar in January 2023.
SANDRA graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London, before completing the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP). She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in November 2023.
